High-Fives
A research page should provide information about the specific project and summarize your contributions to the project. Start with a project title, PI, and university, department, or research center the project is housed in. Here you may note the duration of your involvement with the project. Note if your involvement in the project is a part of a unique, time-limited experience, like a CURE or REU. If your mentor is not the PI, consider adding their information to this section.

Intentional media enhances the richness of your experience to your audiences. Consider what aspects of the work have captivated you, and use media that will in turn captivate your audiences. Use your own high-quality images, video, and audio where possible. Provide sources for media that you do not have ownership of.
Research Focus
Summarize the main focus of the research project. This can include central questions the research seeks to address, the topic being examined, or any other information that will help your audience understand the scope of the project.
Use terms commonly understood by your multiple audiences. A succinct description of the research project in layman's terms encourages you to articulate relevancy of the work to a non-academic audience and reveals strong communication skills to all audiences.
Responsibilities
Summarize your tasks, duties, and/or unique outputs associated with the project. What did you learn? Did you gain proficiency in something you already knew? Consider what tools, methods, and/or strategies you want to convey you have experience with.
Methods / Background / Locations / Implications / Positionality
Consider what else would be helpful for your audiences to know about the project. Is there additional information you can provide about the methods used to collect or analyze data? Would it be useful to summarize existing theories or frameworks that inform your central question?
Is physical or temporal location significant to the research question? What are the broader impacts of the research project? In what ways is the research significant to the existing literature? Is self-disclosure important to your research context?
Have you disseminated your work on this project? Add links to any materials you created in association with this project, i.e. research poster, creative performance, infographic, web article, poem, podcast, etc. Provide context for your audience by including when and where you presented, published, or performed your work.
